We believe that everyone of us is looking for a place to belong...a place to call Home.
We are a vibrant, growing, hope-filled community of people who have found life in Jesus. We are a tribe of hundreds of people whose lives have been changed by an encounter with Jesus and we are passionate about partnering with Him to serve the city around us that He loves. Coventry Elim is an exciting place to be!
Wd love to help you find your home within our community.
First Time Guest
We understand that coming along to somewhere new can be a daunting prospect. At Coventry Elim Church we do everything we can to make your experience with us as enjoyable as possible and to make you feel at home. We hope that you find relevant information on this page to help you to feel at home with us.
Most services start with vibrant, contemporary songs of thanks to God, led by a band on the stage. You are welcome to join us as we sing our worship to God. All the words are on the screens so if want to, you can sing along. We encourage you to relax and engage at your own pace, even if that means not singing at all.
Why not listen to some of the songs we're currently singing in our Sunday services.
In every service we talk about God or an aspect of Christian living based on the teaching of the Bible. This section of the service usually lasts around 30 minutes. If you would like to hear one of our talks, sign up for our podcast.
Most Sundays there is time to receive personal prayer. Sometimes this happens during the service, but prayer is always available following every service.
We also love to hear stories of God’s answers to our prayers.
What time does it start?
Over the summer we are meeting in the Elim Building for 2 services at 9am and 11am. We'll be back at The Belgrade on 10th September.
When we are meeting in The Belgrade our Sunday Services begin at 11am. The cafe opens at 10am and you can register your children from 10:40am.
Where is the church?
Most Sundays we meet at the Belgrade Theatre, which is in the city centre just off of Junction 8 of the Coventry Inner ring road.
What should you wear?
Most people who attend our services dress in a casual manner. But whatever you choose to wear, you are totally welcome!
Where can you park?
Parking is available at the Belgrade Plaza car park, for just £1 for the whole day. The carpark is a short walk from the theatre complex.
What should you expect?
When you arrive, one of our host team will welcome you in and show you around. If you need help with anything just ask one of our hosts.
Before the service, you can sign your children into Powerhouse - our kids’ church for children aged 3-11. If you have babies or toddlers, we provide a space for them to play with an audio-visual link to the main auditorium. Parents can watch their children play whilst listening to the sermon through wireless headsets.
