Strong Relationships

One of the goals we have as a church is that we want to be a place where people are able to forge Strong Relationships primarily through involvement in a variety of Small Groups. As you read Acts 2 in the New Testament there is a clear model of both the 'gathered' church and the 'scattered' church. You can read that they gathered together in the temple courts and then scattered to meet in each other’s homes; you can see both large and small groups in operation.

We have 'borrowed' a phrase from Rick Warren that describes what we hope to see at Elim, that we would be a church that ‘grows larger and smaller at the same time!’

We believe that being part of a Small Group will help you build strong relationships and provide you with people who can support and pray for you.
