We tend to run the Alpha Course and Purpose Driven Life courses termly throughout the year. We have recently we have trialled a Finance Course. We believe that these two courses give an excellent introduction to the Christian faith and teach some of the basics of what it means to follow Jesus and have a clear purpose in life. Jesus used everyday situations to describe spiritual truths. We call these stories 'parables'. What if Jesus asked us to look at a football match? What would he teach us from a game that has become the focus of the world's attention?

Life has so many components. We fill our diaries with multiple events and rush around from task to task. What would happen if our lives took on a new sense of focus and we did just 'one thing'?

Lisa Potts

Lisa first came to prominence when, as a nursery nurse in Wolverhampton, she protected her pupils from a machete-wielding attacker. Through her bravery she has won 19 awards including the highest civilian award and the George Medal. Lisa talks about how God carried her through her difficult and terrifying experience. Due to the content of her message no children are permitted to this event.
